This is my new setting technique which uses 2 piece of metal (either gold or silver) to encase the opal, making this setting extremely protective for the stone and allowing never before abilities to add detail and texture around the setting. Perfect for everyday for those hard on their jewels. 

This is quite a complicated setting technique and requires a significant amount of extra time to make than regular traditional styles
