Fully saturated colouring going all the way through this incredible freeform carved gem. I would have to say that all colours are represented eaqually in this opal, but definitely leans towards the upper end of the orange to red end of the spectrum.
The opal was mined at the 15 mile field, Coober Pedy (SA) and measures approximately 11 x 10 x 4mm.
This ring sports 7.1gm of 18ct yellow gold and was made using a one of a kind made wax carving.
Ring size is O.75 (7.5 US), but can be resized on request or done by any jeweller anytime.
